Hi There!

Hi. My name is Haldan. You can call me Haldan. Because that's my name. And it's what I'm called. My partner in crime/team mate is Matt (George Cantstandya). Our game is called WE SHALL REBUILD and its about recovering from a national disaster... and you have to rebuild the city.... hence the rebuild part of the title. Anyway the game is meant to teach how different levels of government interact with said community to fix a city. hopefully it will be very educational.

This is harder than i thought. We are working on our building today and we have the windows loading down. sweeeeeeeeeeeeet. It's pretty cool. Coming along great. Thanks maticus. Anyways our progress is finally starting to progress.lol I'm getting more excited by the minute. This is awesome.

Starting up

We started our demo today and ran into a problem already. haha. We are working on it though. It's all fun though, so i'm not complaning. I'm looking forward to the rest of this year and the fruits that my labor holds. This is going to be a tough run though. whew!

Almost Christmas.

It's almost Christmas and the Holiday season is definitely beginning to spread. I know I'm ready for a break. But... When we get back it's go time. We did a fair job on our paper prototype and in little time, but we now have yet another deadline. February 8th for the game demo. It's gonna be tough. We have been trying to see how the game will play out and where this adventure will take us, and the paper prototype helped a lot with that. This is going to be a "fun run" if you will. The greatest part of all this is the seance of accomplishment. Knowing that we can do so much. Knowing that what we have done so far has been our ideas and creativity coming together to form tangible fun. The program of globaloria is great. Fabulous! Heck... It's Amazing!!! In the words of the old McDonalds slogan. "I'm Lovin It"!!!!

Our paper prototype has begun. It has brought our ideas out more fully and helped us to invision our game. We are doing a volcanic eruption. and repairing the damage. the game play is coming together nicely.

Today we are thinking about our game slide to slide! thinking more about the game play and how it will go.

New Ideas

We have made alot of progress today in finding out how our game is going to play out. We have many forming ideas and have done a "paper prototype of a paper prototype" so to speak, and that helped us form the actions. We have many new ideas, also, concerning things such as status bars, making money, sanatation civilian satisfaction, etc.
