civic engagement blog.

i didnt get to put a few things in my game. i didn't get to put the llama in the game. I also didn't get as many facts or questions in the game involving government and community as i would have liked. We baisicaly took what we absoloutly needed and kept it. We couldn't aford to keep everything we had planned.

next time

hopefully next time i will be able to finish my graphics and start coding. i'm excited to start coding. Anxious even. I can't wait to see it coming together.

I made a Title page to replace our crappy one. And i started drawing the main scene to the game. This is where it starts to get tricky. But, I have faith that our (myself and the mullens) ideas will carry us through. Our minds put together are like the force of luke skywalker taking down the death star! hoo ya!

THE PRESEDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!

The American Choice is the game I choose. I think this is a good civic engagement game. It is the foundation of Americas role in this nation. Voting for the President of the United States. One of the biggest ways that citizens interact with the government. I think all people should know more about this.

collaboration

My paper prototype is a great example of collaboration. Me and Matt had to work hard together to get that done. On a higher level FEMA and the red cross for instance work hard with a community to recover from a natural disaster.

Budgets and Stuff

I worked on the budget screens today. I got tons done today. More than usual. I also filled out a lot on my team page. I'm liking the flash options. It's fun to work on. I like drawing on it and making progress at the same time.lol

Hi. My name is Haldan. You can call me Haldan. Because that's my name. And it's what I'm called. My partner in crime/team mate is Matt (George Cantstandya). Our game is called WE SHALL REBUILD and its about recovering from a national disaster... and you have to rebuild the city.... hence the rebuild part of the title. Anyway the game is meant to teach how different levels of government interact with said community to fix a city. hopefully it will be very educational.
